Hello,Thank you for using JA. A Tenancy at Will is when the landlord and tenant do not have a written contract for a set term so the lease agreement is considered a month to month tenancy. Either party can typically terminat a tenancy at will with a 30 day notice..A periodic tenancy is one that is for as set term (i.e. 6 months, 1 year, etc.) It automatically terminates at the end of the fixed term and not before unless there is some type of breach by either party..A tenancy by the entirely is when a husband and wife own an undivided one half interest in a property along with a right of survivorship. When one party dies, the other automatically becomes the sole owner without any further action necessary..A tenancy at sufferance is the next higher step from a trespasser. It arises after a periodic tenancy has ended but the tenant still is in possession of the property and before the landlord has demanded possession. Unlike a tenancy at will, a tenant at sufferance is not entitled to any notice before an eviction action is started..
