I bought a moblehome & paid the sales tax. I want to lease

This answer was rated:

I bought a moblehome & paid the sales tax. I want to lease the moblehome to a friend on a yearly lease with the option to buy when the moblehome is paid off. Does sales tax have to be paid again now or when the moblehome is sold? Also should I use a 25 year lease just like the mortgage or stick with yearly leases?

The sales tax will be assessed when the mobile home is sold. The lease will not require a sales tax to be paid.

If you're the seller/leasor, it's best for you to have the tenant/buyer to commit long term.
