I recently lost my eye sight. I am looking for a device that I heard of, called the Moet Sonic Guide. It's like a pair of glasses with a sonic device that lets you know when you are getting near a wall, a person, or any other obsticle. Perhaps someone knows where I can get one of these devices. Any help would be appreciated.

You can find multiple resources, including links and website, for adaptive equipment for people with visual impairments.

The device that you are speaking of is called SonicGuide (no spaces.)

Your physician can tell you where you can purchase it.

Let me know if you have more questions.

Reply to tfalkner's Post: Thank you for your quick response. This is the first time I have tried to use this forum without assistance. I was expecting to see a response in my email inbox. I did not realiz3e that the responses are carried within the environment of Expert Ask. I intend to look through this web site that you gave me and se if I can find the Sonicguide. Please note that I posted another similar ad after your response. I was unaware that I had any responses at the time of the second posting. If you think of some other sites that might be of use and/or interest to me, please let me know. Since I don't know how you would send them to me on this forum, I will give you my personal email address. It is Customer (name blocked for privacy)@tusc.kent.edu. I am a professor of mathematics at Kent State University. Perhaps there is some other technology of which you are aware that would help to solve the problem of writing on the board when I can no longer see it. Thank you again. And thanks for tollerating the long response. Sincerely, Wesley Tolle.
