Question

I want to remove a light from a circuit and discontinue the use of that box and the switch that operated that box. What should I do with the hot wire, neutral wire, and ground at the box where the light was and at the switch that operated the light?

Reply to Glenn's Post: Just to clarify. Where the switch was, I will have each wire capped separately with a nut? Where the light was, I will have each wire capped separately with a nut? This will not affect the other fixtures on this circuit?

Reply to Glenn's Post: At the light, there is only 1 cable coming in = one hot, one neutral, and one ground. At the switch, there are two cables coming in = two neutrals tied together, 2 hots - one to each screw on the switch, and 2 grounds pigtailed and tied to the switch.

Hello

Ok then this looks like the circuit ends here

You should be safe just wire nutting all of them off it won't effect anything else
