Answer

What your going to need to do here is check for a broken connection or loose connection in your switch boxes. Now I dont know the layout of your particular home - so you will have to investigate this for yourself - but basically what you will be looking for is loose or broken wiring. It may be handy for your to have what we call a stick tester. It looks like this:

What this will do is when you open up your switch boxes, you place it next to each hot wire to see if it has juice. If one of your wires does not, and it should - then you know that is where your connection problem is.

Before doing all this - please humor me in going back to your panel and physically checking the breakers. Sometimes they will trip and you cant tell it. What you need to do is physically push on each breaker handle towards the middle. If you have "play" in any of the breakers - that will be your tripped breaker. Do this first and if that is not the case, go with what I posted above. Basic rule of thumb is to always start at the breaker first and work your way out.

Now after you do this and you still have problems with the circuit - please let me know and I will be more than happy to dig into this further with you. Good luck and have a great day.
