wow cold night in KY, the issue sounds like you have either a IAC valve that is sticking, or intake manifold gaskets that have hardened and are sucking air, the iac valve gets carbon builtup inside it and will stick causing idles issues, if you open the hood there is a cover that is atached to the top of the engine by 4 7mm screws, remove those and remove the cover, in the center of the intake you will see a silver cylindar about 4 inches long with a diamond shaped flange attached to the intake by 2 8mm bolts,that is the iac valve, get someone to start it and keep it idleing while you tap on the iac sharpley with the handle end of a hammer usually the iac will unstick when you do this,
you will know because the engine sound will change, if it still continues to act up then i would say the intake gaskets will need replacing.If i can further assist you lemme know.
