We have a 10+ yr.old cat. No medical history that we know. Abandoned, we took her in. She's blond & deaf. We believe she is part Siamese, pointed ears. Apetite & water intake normal. Output normal. Problem is, fur is matted in spots mostly towards the hind quarters. We brush daily. Doesn't seem to be painful.

Has she completely stopped grooming herself all together?
What kind of food do you have her on?
