My son lives in Connecticut as does his girlfriend. He is almost 20 and she is 16 1/2. Is it legal for them to have sex even though there is more then a 2 year age difference?

Thank you, can you just clarify that between 13-16 really means under the age of 16. This is where I am confused. Does 16 1/2 fall into that age range or is it really 15 and 364 days? if you understand what I'm asking. Thanks so much

Thank you, but 16 period could mean that that is in the 13-16 illegal age. Or is it as soon as you turn 16 it is not illegal. Sorry, I'm just so confused

Dear Customer (name blocked for privacy)

13 to 16 is 16 - age of consent in CT is 16.

I hope tht makes it clearer. So 16 and above is legal.
