my 103 lb. mixed breed (hound and doberman) is exibiting symptoms of a pinched nerve. She is on Butazolidin for arthritis in her hips but walks daily without discomfort. During the past 4 days she had not wanted to sit or lay, just stand and stare. She has also had a cough for about 4-5 days. The vet said her heart rate was a little high so he put her on Endocart for the cough (CHF) and that seem to have resolved, but the standing issue has not so she gave her a shot of Rimadyl and she responded within two hours. She also had 1/4 of a tranquilizer which I thought might have helped. What do you advise as the best course of treatment.
