Hi,
To better help you:
Has she done this from the start, or did this behaivor appear recently?
Thanks. -Robyn
Thanks for the additional information. First, you may want to have her checked by your vet to rule out any medical conditions that could be causing this. Some genetic issues and infections can cause a cat to have urgency issues, thus not going in the litter box. Food allergies can also complicate this. If these are ruled out, you may want to try cleaning the litter boxes twice a day. Although tedious, some cats are very particular about going where there is existing matter (there are some great self cleaning boxes that work well in these situations). You can also try cleaning anywhere that she may have went with a vineagar and water solution. This will help to remove the scent. Finally, if she isn't yet altered, consider having her fixed. Some female cats mark just as males do. If you need any other information let me know. -Robyn
