Hello

Here is the procedure for you. Its best to just replace the axle with a rebuilt unit that has rebuilt joints.

The passenger side, stuck in hub assembly where spline goes into hub. Broke hub nut loose and took it off and can't get it to pull out.

Answer

What you can do is take the nut and put it back on the end of the joint, but only thread it on untill the end of the nut is flush with the end of the joint, then take a BIG hammer and drive it inward, you may reach a point to where it cant go any further because the nut in hitting,,,then just remove the nut and use a center punch to drive it the rest of the way.

Just be carefull not to damage the threads on the axle,,,,they might charge you for the core when you exchange it for a rebuilt unit.
