Question

I own a four family property in the city of middletown ny and want to add another story to the property and rent roof space to a wireless communication company such as cell phone repeaters. I just dont know the zoning requirments.

Contact the County Planning Department. Most often these have to go through them first. Meet planning and zoning approval and then go before a vote for fianl approval. Expect a battle as they often do cause issues from adjacent landowners. But start with your Local Planning and Zoning to get you started on this. It can be a profitable income.
