Question

within past two years i have discovered my mother has narcissistic personality disorder. i became severly depressed at age 12, and have made multiple suicide attempts to alleviate the suffering. now i know the cause is exogenous. My position is precarious in that at times of severe illness, i sought her help, not knowing she is the single biggest detriment to my well being. further, during periods of dysfunction, she has usurped my autonomy, and, outwardly would have people believe that she is caring for me, but in reality she is controlling me. she is and has always been malicious, cruel, abusive, a compulsive liar, withhold important info, baits me to look bad, breaches confidence etc,. I have long been her target, and when no one is around to impress or seek approval, she treats me virtually diabalically. Before i knew what was going on, she, as since i was young, moves in when she perceives weakness, defenslessness, as with a child. For sanity sake, I must sever ties with her.
