Question

I am feeling pains in my penis area. Not pains from a std or anything but like aching pain around my testicals sometimes and penis area. I went and got checked for std's and the doctor said i was clear, they even gave me the std shots just in case. What is the problem. I have had a std before and didnt know it. So am i damaged down there or would i need to see a urologist

Hello,

The pain/discomfort in your penis and testicular area can be due to many factors, An important one being injury. If you can rule that out , then other factors can be considered. These are:
1. Infections like epididymoorchitis or orchitis or epidymitis..
2. hydrocele or fluid around the testes.
3. Spermatocele: Cyst filled with degenerated liquified sperm.
4. Varicocoele: comngestion of veins drainingthe testes.
5. Testicular cancer.
6. Kidney stones.

Std 's are generally associated with painful micturition, penile discharge,warts or blisters.Since you donot have them, its unlikel;y to be STD.

I suggest that you visit a specialist(urologist ) and discuss about the the conditions that I have mentioned above.
