Answer

Hello and welcome to Just Answer.

While some of your symptoms do resemble that of a thyroid problem (such as the pain, fatigue, and sleep insomnia), there is no way to be certain without having blood work drawn. Blood work is relatively simple and will check a few things with how your thyroid is functioning, as well as if there are any infections present.

The best advice I can offer is to be seen by your family physician and request that he does some bloodwork. Please know that you do not have to live with these symptoms, and if your physician isn't helping, contact your insurance carrier to tell them your complaints.

I really hope that my answer has helped you today. If there is anything else that I can help you with today, please don't hesitate to ask.
