I have a 9 year old Pomeranian. Lately (the last three to four days) he has been throwing up liquid kinda yellowish. Other times clear. Has not been eating like he used to. Now he just has a nibble or two of his food and the rest is waisted. Will not eat anymore treats at all. He will drink water like crazy but he does not want to eat. Getting very concerned about him

Hi,
I'm sorry to hear that your Pom is having this problem You can try to offer him some boiled chicken and rice as it is gentle on the stomach. There is product called Nutri-Cal that you may want to give him as well (from the pet supply store). As for the cause of this, it may an infection, parasite, or underlying condition (such as Addisions). I would suggest that you have your vet do a fecal sample and run blood work on him. All of these are mangable, but need to be dealt with in a prompt manner. I hope he's feeling better soon. -Robyn

Hi,
Thanks for the additional information. Sneezing is also an indicator of infection. Sometimes upper respiratory tract infections can cause the symptoms you described. It's likely that he will need an antibiotic from your vet. I hope he's doing better soon. -Robyn
