i am 21 and live alone. i have asked my landlord to give me notice before her mantainance men enter my apt. in my lease it says she does not have to but her mantainance man has walked in on me when i was in the shower. what can i do about this?

Hello Tenant,

I would put a chain lock or a second lock on the door that you can fasten while you are in the apartment, but leave unlocked when you aren't home. You have a right to privacy and protection while you are in your home and shouldn't have to worry about someone walking in while you are there.
