I received a long beam tv antenna from a friend. I don't know if it is a vhf/uhf antenna or otherwise. But he said it brought in a great picture. I live in the country so satellite tv is the norm, but I just need local channels without the extra cost. The main beam is about 6 to 7 feet long with a v-shaped element up and down toward one end. The tower I will receive a signal from is southwest of my house. Which end of the antenna should I point to the signal tower? Thanks, Bill
