Does the unit fill with water?
Ok this is a common problem with this unit. The lid switch has gone out and needs to be replaced. Here is a breakdown of the lid area. The switch is #11 If you could locate this on your unit you can manually activate the switch (you should hear a click) and see if the machine continues to go through the cycle. If this does not do the trick then the next step is to jumper the switch and see if the unit works. If it still does not start to work properly then the timer is at fault.
