This would depend on the stage of your pregnancy, the amount of bleeding, and the cause of the bleeding.
For example, if someone were 6 weeks pregnant and had light spotting, it would be highly unlikely that a doctor would admit them to a hospital.
However, if someone were 26 weeks pregnant and gushing large amounts of bright red blood because their cervix were too low in the uterus, they should be admitted.
