I have a comcast hd cable box, plasma hd tv, vcr/dvd combo machine, and an amplifier with 5 speakers for surround sound. I am trying to hook this up for the first time all by myself and can't get it to work right. I want the tv and vcr/dvd to have surround sound as well. I have been told to go through the amplifier for everything...but there are so many darn options with the same colors on the back! Thank you for your help. This is my first post on this site.
