Dash lights dont come on and won,t start. When the lights do come on it starts and runs great, but sometimes the dash lights go off and it dies. All other power works when you turn on ignition. Could this be a PCM problem or what?

Joel:ok, this sounds like the ignition switch in the column. The nignition switch sends poer to many diferent systems, and with the dash lights off when it wont start, makes me think this is your problem.
Christopher78:so I should try a new ignition switch first, If thats not it what next to check?
Joel:what i would do first is remove the lower cover on the steering colimn, and tap or pull on the wires of the switch to be sure. Do this with engine running and see if you can get it to act up

Joel:If the switch is malfunctioning, it will be pretty obvious when you tap on it, they usually act up right away.
