Answer

Just the opposite to constipation...she has had diarrhea and has the urge to go, even though she is 'empty'. Do not give her any laxatives, or even think about it, ok?

Did you just get her, or have you raised her from a pup?
Has she been wormed yet?
Is she weaned yet?
Has she had anything 'exotic' to eat recently that may have set her intestines off?

Wipe her butt with a warmed moist tissue so it doesn't get any more inflamed than it is.

She will need food and drink several times a day...make it mild and smaller portions than normal, but let her have the water she wants.

If she is still straining tomorrow (Thursday) you need to think about having her vet take a look.

I hope this is helpful. best wishes.

Stick with what she has been eating without getting diarrhea.
