I heard it was not a good idea to let a dog sniff reptiles. Is this true?

Hello,

Reptiles are know to carry Salmonella. It is not a good idea for the the dogs nor is is a good thing for the Reptile since they do stress very easily. There is alos the possibility of some of the parasites that a Reptile may carry can cross contaminate the dog. Joan jav917
