1. Iff he has a college degree he can come to the U.S. and apply for jobs for which he is qualified, and attempt to get hired and sponsored by a U.S. employer for an H-1B program.

3. he can apply for an E treaty investro visa. Such a visa merely requires a business plan and suffiecient capital to gaurantee a reasonable chance of business plan success. this is to start a business in the U.S.
4. he can apply for seasonabl work with the hotel industry, now in the ski areas who are looking for employees. (lake taho for one). the hotel and restaurant industy hires a lot of seasonal workers. After he gets a job offer he can apply for an H-2A/B visa.
5. he can try to get work at an american subsidiary or sister company overseas, work there for one year and transfer to the U.S. on an L Visa.
