The Association has control on matters such as this. Whether it is the existence of an amateur radio antenna, or parking a camper in your 2nd reserved spot, or painting the front of your unit a bright fluorescent green, the association has the right on behalf of all owners to maintain control over the common grounds and their use an appearance.

if you want to pursue this, the best chance would to get other owners to consent to your plan. The Association governs in the best interest of members - if members show by their consents that this is OK with them, the Association should be more likely to approve.
