Question

I had purchased a TP-LINK 54M wireless PCI adapter for my pc. I am linking to a linksys Wireless-G router with DSL and WPA encryption. I cn connect to the router just fine with a good signal, however cannot not connect to the internet. If I hook a linksys-b wireless usb adapter without encryption(this adapter won't support it) it works just fine. Any advice? Thanks XXXXX@XXXXXX.XXX

Hi Mew.

Could you go to start and click run then type cmd and hit enter.

a dos prompt will appear, so type ipconfig and hit enter and let me know what the IP Address is.

Then from the dos prompt type ping yahoo.com and hit enter and let me know of it says reply or if it says request timed out.
