cut on cats paw between pad and toe swollen and not walking on it.
what can i do to help.

Hi,

For the moment, try applying warm compresses with epsom salts, if you have it, and see if there's anything imbedded in the pad, toe, cut. You can't really 'soak' it, but try to squeeze the washcloth with the solution (use diluted 50/50 hydrogen peroxide if you have no epsom salts) over the affected area, with a receptacle underneath.

Pat dry afterwards, and apply a thin film of Neosporin (NOT with pain plus) and wrap the paw in a baby sock, if you have one. Bring the cat to the vet in the morning for assessment, and antibiotics may be needed to treat infection or avoid infection.
