Word having to do with Socrates

I can’t think of the word I saw once having to do with Socrates and his philosophies. It definitely begins with Ax... Axatar? Axivar? Axa...?

After excluding most of the obvious candidate words as being
either not particularly Socratic, or otherwise unlikely, I was left
with just one candidate, but since you are sure the word begins
with "ax-", what I suggest must be wrong so I'll post this for free
just for interest's sake.

"Akrasia". This is defined as "weakness of the will", and was
considered by Socrates to be the basis for bad conduct.
