My cat has been squinting his left eye for the past day and it's pink all around it (more than usual), his attititude is the same, and it doesn't seem to hurt him. What do you think it is?

I'm sorry about that. He's 3 and he's stictly indoor. He's the only animal in my house and was by himself when I came home to his eye being like that. It's weird too because it comes and goes. I can't imagine him having his eye poked with anything inanimate in my apartment, I checked.

Dear friend,

Get a tube of terramycin eye ointment. Some pet supply supply stores stock it but call first or you can order it at http://www.revivalanimal.com/

Rogie may have conjunctivitis or a herpes" type" infection

If this is the case, you can add L-lycine to his water Crush up 125mg and put in his food or water every day. http://www.bulwrinkle.com/ makes EnysilF which may be easier for you to give.

In the meantime, apply a damp teabag three times a day to reduce akalinity.

Please let me know how your baby is doing.I you have any more questions, I will always be here for you.

Very sincerely,

Terri

Thanks so much for your help! Should the teabag be warm? I know this is stupid but does it matter what type of tea?

Answer

Hi,

No it does not sound stupid at all.It is always smart to clarify things.

The teabag can be warm or room temp but not cold. Any type of tea is OK.

Let me know how your baby is doing.I will aways be happy to help.

Sincerely,

Terri
