Question
I am applying to THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA, DEPT. OF CORRECTIONAS AND REHABILITATIONS, to be a YOUTH CORRECTIONAL OFFICER COUNSELOR, i recently had a physical done by their dept. and i got a letter saying i have a high liver panel result: total bilirubin (2.24), and they are asking i go to my physician and get repeat lab. results for that, and if they are still not within normal limitsn, i need a written evaluation /medical approval from my physician discussing any limitations/restrictions, and/or medications prescribed. do you think that a total bilirubin as high as mine can affect my work performance? if the second lab. results are still the same, would there be any medical limitations or considering the type of job duties would the doctor see no relevance? thank you for your time.....
