Question
I have a 14 year old German Shepard mix who is suffering from kidney failure. Annie cannot walk but does not seem to be suffering. Her breathing is sluggish. Her abdominal area looks extended and bloated like she has lots of fluid. She does not want to eat or drink. the vet has taken Xrays and blood work but cannot diagnose the problem so gave her 2 antibiotics. Baytril 68mg. once daily and Ampicillin 500mg. twice daily. Is there anything we can we do to tabilize her condition short of taking her back to the vets and put her on IV's?

Info Request
Is her inability to walk due to the kidney failure or has it been present prior to this incident? Is she on any medications other than the antibiotics? This information will help me give you a better response.
