Hello. The first thing, obviously, will be to know for sure if one of your birds is a male. She would not need a male to lay eggs. Only to have fertile eggs. It's even possible to see what appears to be mating behavior between two same sex birds. Do you know the gender for sure of the other bird? If not, can you give me your best description of the bird? Also, look at the underside of the tails feathers and tell me if they seem to be solid color or can you see any horizontal stripes across them? What is the age of the other bird? How many eggs does she have and when was the last one laid? Fertile or not, this is going to be a big drain on her health so please tell me all about their diet too so I can help you make sure she is getting everything she needs. There will be a lot involved in the diet but for now, at least make sure she has a never ending supply of cuttle bone. If she does not have run, you need to get her one, "yesterday".
