The penis skin is thin and sensitive--friction, especially rough friction--can make any sensitive skin red and swollen.Other then lubrication before and after sex , a prescription-strength hydrocortisone preparation to be applied when the area is sore Don't wash too much, as that would also increase irritation.
The irritation developed will be relieved by the above cream.Applying oils over penis every night will also helps in lubrication & will prevent friction.
