Question

i FOUND A LUNP NEAR MY CAT'S COLLAR BONE. i THOUGHT IT MIGHT BE A TICK. aFTER CUTTING THE SURROUNDEING HAIR IT LOOKS MORE LIKE A HARD FLESH COLORED LUMP.
COULD IT STILL BE A TICK? SHE WAS OUT 3 WEEKS AGO AND I REMOVED 4 TICKS FROM HER HAIR.

Answer

If you removed a tick from that area it might be a reaction to the head not being all the way pulled out.
You can apply some neosporin or triple antibiotic ointment to the lump to see if that helps clear it up. If not then you can see the vet.
You may want to see your vet about testing for tick carried diseases as cats can catch them too if they are bitten by ticks.
And just so you know anatomically cats don't have true collar bones though their is a remnant of one buried in muscle it doesn't attach to their shoulders instead their shoulders sit free on the muscles.
Hope this helps you!
