my little maltese dog Laz besides his heart problem, his skin seems to be turning pink,even a few sores on his belly..

Hi--we are neighbors I think. My practice is on Redington Shores.

At any rate, it sounds like it may be some skin allergies, with a secondary staph infection causing the sores. The pollen and mold allergies cause itchy skin in dogs, not hay fever like in people. He probably needs some medication for allergies and some antibiotics for the staph, if that is indeed the case. I would let a vet look at him so they can get it taken care of.

the vet says Laz has an enlarged heart that hits his lung causing him to choke a lot ,he has 3 kinds of pills he takes. now the pink skin. He scratched a lot with some fleas, so i gave him a flea bath and thats when i really notced the pinkish skin
