Leo is about 5 or 6 years old. He always has food available. Looks normal and I've never seen him do this before. His personality is "scardycat" and the only one he wil let touch him is me. Right now he looks healthy but this is disturbing! Where do you live? I live in royal Palm Beach.

Accepted Answer

Dear Stella,

As long as Leo is eating, I would not worry too much about this. This may just be his anal glands Or he may have stool stuck to his bottom.Check and see.Any groomer can express anal glands if that is what it is.

I the meantime offer him some real tuna or boiled chicken. He can drink tuna water if he wants to.

Please get right back to me and tell me how he is . I live off of okeechobee.I will stand by to hear from you.

Very sincerely,

Terri
