Greetings:

People in your dreams: Generally speaking, every person, animal, or thing in your dream symbolizes some aspect of you, while the dream action depicts how you act and interact with these fragments. Our usual response is to deny or disown the less than lovely parts of ourselves.

Conversely, dream people may represent beautiful attributes or talents which you have but do not see in yourself. Your dreams introduce these to you so you can begin to accept the fact that you do have these qualities or skills and integrate these unclaimed qualities and characteristics.

Your dream itself speaks of a man - males, usually depict intellect, action, aggressiveness, self-assertion, will power, fact finding, no-nonsense approach, ability to be strong, to fight or push when necessary, and sometimes when not necessary.

Ideally, we should each have a balance of male and female qualities within us - thus, your dream with this man made you feel happy, complete and loved - which states that you are integrating the balance due to the choices you are making in life which makes you whole and complete.

The fact that you then walk down the stairs - speaks of spirituality - stairs, steps, footing, steps we take, one step at a time, a step in the right direction  - coming down speaks of moving away from sprituality, away from God, moving down to subconscious level or may be lowering yourself.

This may speak of others not believing/approving in your goals, in the direction you wish to take in life and you are perhaps beginning to believe that about you....The spirit behind you with a ball is a jolt to you ...telling you that you do need to do what you feel is right for you - to listen to what your own voice/heart is telling you...forcing you to stop and take notice.

In dreams, another throwing a ball, implies not missing your aim, making enough effort..A ball depicts wholeness (circle), oneness or a pun for keeping your eye on the ball or being on the ball.

Consciously, you have been on the right path - however, as you were decending the stairs in your dream...you are being warned not to go off in another direction.

If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to let me know.

Bright Blessings.

Peace, Love & Happiness,

Answer

Dear XXXXXXXXXXXXX,

I'm going to give you two interpretations to your dream.

1st Interpretation--present time and/or in the
                     future

You have already met a guy who makes you feel wonderful about yourself--complete (or you will). You had this dream to help you recognize how it feels to be completely loved and on top of the world (or in this case, in the upper rooms--rafters--of this house).

It's only when you come down to Earth (descend the steps) that the real world (the bad spirit) intrudes upon your happy little love bubble and pops it by whacking you in the head with a ball to get you to wake up. [The spirit could also signify someone specifically trying to bring you down or break you two up, like a "supposed" friend or relative. It will be someone who is jealous of you and won't be truly happy until you are as miserable as it is.]

2nd Interpretation--spiritual and/or physical

Being loved completely by this man might just be your soul (or subconscious) letting you know that you are special and deserve to be loved. It is a spiritual love--the highest and most beautiful kind and that is why you feel complete. (It's like being loved in Heaven by God--unconditionally and absolutely.)

Then you descend down into the reality of the physical plane (Earth). The bad spirit that you feel is the preprogrammed words and preconceived notions that other people have fed you your whole life. You tell it to go home (or go away), but it doesn't because it has nowhere to go. So it throws a ball at you to make you see that it is home, whether you like it or not, and you had better accept it because it refuses to be ignored anymore.

Obviously, there is a side of yourself that you see as "bad" and you haven't been willing to accept it yet as a part of you that deserves to be validated, too (to have a right to exist--that is all anyone ever asks for). When you finally accept this part of yourself that you have been rejecting, then you will finally become a more complete individual, capable of great self-love and happiness.

I hope that helped.
