Question
Can symtoms of vertigo and nausea be related to being on my computer too long?
When I am on the computer for about 2 hrs. I
get a ringing in my ears..very loud. I get off
and I notice I'm a little dizzy and nauseaed.
Can being on the computer be harmful to ones
health? I have tried cutting back my time.
Sometimes it helps to just be on everyother
day. But...I'm really concerned if it's more
than just that. Could there really be a health
risk for some people being on the computer?
Thank you,

Answer
There was some concern about the refresh rate of the monitors being a problem for long term use.
Slower monitors refresh at 60 Hz and newer ones are 72 Hz and seem to be better.
It might be possible to look into your computer monitor setup and alter it to the faster rate.
other issues are typing on the keyboard affecting the hands.
Your age weight and meds seem to indicate that you have some health issues at the start that might be setting off a panic attack ( I have them as well)
I don't think the computer would be an issue so maybe just take a break and get in some fresh air and a walk around the block.
