Question

my 5 year old lab swallowed a 3'' chunk of rib eye steak bone two days ago.she had a slight diereah mess in middle of night and was not real hungry for breakfast.Is there a product to give her to help this pass easier?Ialso felt all around her abdomen and flanks for tender spots and detected none this morning.

If she hasn't passed it yet, it is likely to have created an intestinal blockage. You can read about this here:

In addition, bones can splinter and puncture the gastrointestinal tract causing peritonitis.

Adding fiber such as canned pumpkin (not pie filling) may help push the bone through. I recommend that you have your dog x-rayed to see where the bone is at this point before your dog's condition worsens.
