My 1989 buick lasabre will not start- I have power, but when i turn the ignition, i don't even get a click - is it the starter?

It will not crank - I don't even get a click

OK.Here's what I think.Normally when a starter goes bad you at least get something out of it.This does not mean it is not bad.You should remove it and have it tested.If you had a testlight you could check to make sure you were getting power to the starter to eliminate wiring as a problem.Because we cannot do that test,the next best thing is to remove the starter and have a parts store test it for you.At least that way you will know if that is the problem or not.Hope this helps!Thanks
