I have a rash on my legs that is red and scally. itches sometimes but not lot. though it was going away but seems to be getting redder since ive been sick. Should i try some cortizone cream

Without seeing it, it does make it a bit hard. However with the location, do try a Hydrocortisone cream. If there is no change, try something like Lamisil, just to make sure it's not any type of fungal infection. If it's fungal related, you would see an improvement in just a few days after using Lamisil. If no change after the weekend, then I would suggest to be seen in person by your doctor. Wash the soap with a good lather antibacterial soap, pat dry well. And then apply cream.
