I am a driving instructor and would like to send flyers to 16, 17 & 18 year olds who may be interested in learning to drive. How do I get that information on a local and national level.

Hi,

A local level would be easier to do. A national level will be expensive and more then likely produce little results as few people are going to drive to a different state for driving lessons.

As far as a local advertising your best and most effective route is though the schools. You can take your fliers to the local high schools and ask that they be sent home with the children or at the least placed where the children can access them.

Rec centers and local churches are also great places to distribute fliers as well as movie theaters, bowling alleys or local teenager hang outs. Putting fliers out at local stores or local bulletin boards is advisable as well.

if you have a little money to spend a quick commercial at your local radio station or television station would work well.

Another very effective means is local advertising in your newspapers or on line classifieds. Hanging fliers up everywhere will get some attention as well as placing fliers at the DMV.

As for a national level the best bet would be to have someone design a website for you. You can put this on the flier as well. You can also place classified ads in national newspapers as well as on line sites such as Postaroo, yahoo, or craigslist. All these sites have good traffic flow and can get results.

There is also the opportunity of paying someone to produce a short commercial which can be put on nationwide but this is going to be costly and the results are going to be less then what you would like to see.

I wish you the best and if you need anything feel free to let me know.

Walter

Reply to Walter's Post: I was more interested in direct targeting potential clients via possibly the voters roll or something of that nature. Have tried various advertising methods in the past with limited results that probably cost me more than it earned. John
