Question

I have a 2001 Pontiac TransAm V8 that the car trys to start but all it will do is crank. It has about a quarter of a tank of gas and it is sparking what can i do to get the car to start?

Answer

Try starting fluid in the intake. If that works, it is a fuel problem. Check the fuel pump, fuel filter, and fuel lines.

If it does not work, it is ignition. Check the plugs, wires, the starter motor, and the coil.
