We own a Denon AVR-1603 and we are having a problem getting sound to go out through the ’CDR/Tape Audio Out’.
Let me describe our system:
All audio runs into our Denon receiver then we have the ’CDR/Tape Audio Out’ going to ’Aux In’ on a Harmon Kardon receiver (HK-3370). We have an HD Comcast cable box with an audio digital coax cable going to the Denon. We have a Sony DVD/CD player that has an audio digital optic cable that goes to the Denon receiver. We have no problem getting sound out of the speakers that are hooked up directly to the Denon receiver but we have no sound coming out of the Harmon Kardon receiver. The Harmon Kardon receiver puts sound out of everything except for the sound that is sent to it from the Denon. The system did work before we changed from Analog to digital input into the Denon. As soon as we changed the input cables from Analog to Digital we stopped getting sound out of the analog cables on the ’CDR/Tape Audio Out’ .
Please let us know what we can do to get the sound to go out through the ’CDR/Tape Audio Out’ .
