Hi there XXXXXXXXX,
Here are the steps on how to remove the faceplate from the Motorola Pebl and add a new one on!
"1. a) Open your Motorola U6 PEBL so that you can see the LCD (front display).b) Look at your LCD screen. You will notice a panel over the front of the LCD, much like the one you will receive when you purchase your Absolute Accessories faceplate. It will look like this: View Full Image The one that comes with the phone will need to come off. This is held on by adhesive tape. You can remove it from your phone with a gentle slow pressure pulling towards you. Some have used a hair dryer to heat the glue and make it easier to remove. You would need to be very careful with the heat and would only want a slight warm to the touch feel.STEP 2:You will now see four screws that are visible. These will need to be removed. Sometimes when you get a new faceplate you will get a small screwdriver to accompany it for installation purposes. Be careful not to lose any screws as these will be needed to put the new faceplate on.STEP 3:a) Remove the old faceplate. Gently remove the faceplate from the phone.b) After the old one is off, align the new one and gently snap into place.c) Screw in the four screws that were removed earlier.d) Grab your new LCD cover and remove the tape protectant. Align it to the front of the LCD and secure it into place.STEP 4:Remove your battery cover by pressing the battery release button on the back. Place your new battery cover into place and lock it in.YOU'RE DONE!"
These phone accessories can be tricky so I hope these steps help you. Please press the green "accept" button if they have! Good luck!
