Hi,

My friends are having a party and have invited me to come. I do plan to drink while at the party. The problem is im taking prozac(30mg). Is it safe to do? Can i still drink? If i do plan to drink how many drinks of liquor should i have? Thanks

Hi.

Alcohol is a depressant, which is what you take the Prozac for. It is recommended that you not drink any alcohol when you are on anti-depressants, but if you must drink, limit yourself to one or two over the course of the evening.
