my shihzu has just been cut, and he has began to walk funny, jumping round at his bottom. what could this be

Answer

He may have clipper burn along his anal area as that is a very sensitive tissue area. If any of the skin there looks red you can apply some neosporin or triple antibiotic to the skin to help it heal up.
It may also be his anal glands were cleaned out and now are sore. He could be developing an infection in one and that might take vet care to resolve.
I'd look around the anal area and between the legs for clipper burn though as often that is the issue. The clippers get pretty hot while cutting coat and unless you cool them a lot the skin can get over heated.
