Question

Help! My dog ate a small piece of cheese off a mouse glue trap, and consumed some of the glue. He was tired already, so I can't tell if he's sick. Is this dangerous?

Is this just your basic snapping mouse trap in which you used your own piece of cheese?

Thank you

No, its one of those small rectangular "glue traps" I added cheese to get a mouse to walk into it. Small dog (15 pounds) found it and pulled the cheese off. He ate some of the glue in the process.

Accepted Answer

Oh, no he is fine. I am surprised he can even get his mouth open that stuff is so sticky. There are no toxins on the glue it is just super sticky so the mouse cannot get off. He will be fine the amount he consumed on such a small piece won't have any effect on him whatsoever.
