Question

We found a stray at school. She appears to be about 5 months old and is a pinscher/lab mix. What concerns me is her leg looks dislocated and she will not walk on it(back leg). I felt of it and she didn't make any noises. Do you think it is dislocated?

Answer

Yes she could have a dislocated hip perhaps from a car accident. She could also have a knee injury such as a cruciate ligament tear. Or it may be her leg looks odd because she has hip dysplasia which can also cause a hip to pop out of place.
If you are going to keep her I'd suggest seeing a vet with her for a full check up including the leg being checked along with the usual shots, wormings etc done with a pup.
It may be someone abandoned her because she needed expensive vet care.
Hope this helps you!
